More sites added in NT & FNQ
Last month we added a host of new sites in the Northern Territory, this month we have been working on Far North Queensland. Our team have been scouring the land for new campsites, and together with contributions from our members, we are happy to have found over 100 news sites to add to the directory.
These range from Free Camps and Campgrounds to Caravan Parks. They include favourites such as Camping at Pubs, Showgrounds and National Parks. You can check out all the new campsites, plus all our existing ones by downloading the Free version of the FRC App from either the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.

Weather Forecast, Rainfall, Wind Warnings, Tide Times & More
Last week we updated to the latest version of the App with a great new feature. A full weather overlay has been integrated into each listing. So, now, you don’t need a separate weather App! No matter where you are camping, you can just pull up your campsite and see the full 7 day weather forecast for your camp site. It is a great planning tool, and includes features such as a rainfall overlay, wind warnings, tide times and even a sunset & sunrise function
If you already have the App, just head on over to your relevant App Store and press on the UPDATE button.

How to get the latest version of the FRC App
The latest version of the FRC App is now available in both Android & iOS versions. Updating the App will be dependent on your store and device. In some cases, depending on your settings, the app will update automatically once we release it.
In some cases you may have to manually update the app. If this is the case, the procedure is simple.
1. Head on over to your relevant app store.
2. Look for the Free Range Camping app.
3. Once it appears on the screen, if you need to manually update it, you will see an UPDATE button.
4. Simply press on this and it will update for you.
