Where your water tanks are placed on your caravan chassis is a critical factor that is often overlooked. Getting it wrong can easily throw your caravan off balance, especially when driving at higher speeds. Using Solar Power to Cross the Nullarbor
More and more caravanners and campers these days are using solar to power up a whole host of equipment. From lighting and accessories to cooking and cooling, solar technology is developing rapidly. One day soon, it may be used to power the very vehicles that take us camping. We recently met a group of students from UNSW who are at the forefront of solar-powered vehicle technology, having designed and built their own solar-powered vehicle and about to drive it across the Nullarbor.
